Lacy Dooms are a Pop Rock/emo band  from Charlotte NC USA.

Lacy Dooms are made up of Dani on vocals, Joey (rhythm guitar)  John (lead guitar) Austin (bass) and Pablo (drums). If Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan had a baby raised on Paramore and Stand Atlantic, you’d get Lacy Dooms — unapologetically catchy, emotionally raw, and built for the stage.

Emerging from Charlotte, NC, Lacy Dooms is carving out their space in the modern pop-punk and alternative scene with an infectious blend of early-2000s nostalgia and heartfelt energy. Fronted by Dani, whose powerful vocals fuse emotion and attitude, and backed by a driving rhythm section and melodic guitars, the band creates songs that balance vulnerability with defiance.

Their debut EP, Lacy Dooms, captures this spirit perfectly — a collection of tracks that explore love, growth, and empowerment through an unapologetically emo lens. Featured in New Noise Magazine and Local Music Somewhere with rBeatzRadio, the band has been praised for their ability to channel emotional honesty into anthemic, high-energy performances that ignite every room they play.

With a growing fan base across the Carolinas and beyond, Lacy Dooms continues to push forward as a fresh voice in the next generation of pop-punk — blending nostalgia with modern edge and a fearless sense of self-expression.

Track no.4 four of their Lacy Dooms Ep  “Backseat” is about feeling like you are still in your own life or relationship but you are not the one in control anymore. You are watching everything happen while someone else makes the choices or your emotions take over. It is that split between the part of you that feels everything and the part of you that just keeps going.
