An emerging UK artist, Fifi is developing her solo project as both a recording artist and live performer. Her music is vocal-led and story-driven, exploring themes of personal growth, resilience, and self-expression.
My song Wanna Be Me is about having fun and being your true self. I wrote this song because I felt this way a lot when I was younger, and I still sometimes feel this way to this day: I had to change who I was to get others’ approval, and that I wasn’t happy with who I was becoming because of that. I also wrote this song because I feel that, to this day, society and the media expect a certain look from a person, even though we’re all individually very different. So I wrote this song for those who feel the same way so they can have a dance and a boogie to it.
