“Tethered,” is about the role of witness in the climate crisis and specifically the connection between the death of a storyteller and climate change. Loosely inspired Suzanne Simard’s research on finding the “Mother Tree”, the song inspires us to think, “What stories will allow us to challenge the way we live before it’s too late?”
