Gloomsy is Dreamy alt pop singer-songwriter and producer based in Berlin, Germany.
Gloomsy is a Berlin-based independent artist, aiming to do what music always did for her: make the tiny moments feel a little more magical and monumental. Self-taught in FL Studio since she was 17, she started producing music with no formal training, just a need to express herself and turn feelings into sound.
For years, perfectionism kept her songs private, shared only with a close circle of friends, while she built a career in product management in the games industry. But there was always a quiet voice reminding her that music wasn’t just a passion, it was something she needed to follow. In 2025, she finally listened and left her full-time job to make space for it.
“It’s You” is a cosmic love anthem for all hopeless romantics, chronic overthinkers, and recovering cynics. Written and self-produced in my bedroom, it explores ideas of fated love and the fragile hope that lasting love might still be real. As my second single, it builds on my dreamy alt-pop sound, inspired among others by artists such as Caroline Polachek, The Japanese House, MUNA and Porter Robinson.
