YVA (pronounced Eeh-Vah) is an Alternative Independant singer songwriter from Newcastle upon Tyne, England.
Amy Holford is the independent singer and writer behind the moniker YVA, based in the north of England. She released her debut EP, HYPE MACHINE in 2021, was played on BBC6 and has accrued half a million streams on the EP alone.
Her previous covers EP, Don’t Miss It, has amassed over 1.5 million streams since its release in 2019, and she also features heavily on producer and composer Nitin Sawhney’s recorded works, as well as touring live as a permanent fixture in his band, having played in some of the biggest venues in the UK and globally. On her artistry, the Ivor Novello award winner said;
