TULLE is a Apocalyptic Pop (alt/indie) singer songwriter from Norway.
Your silly little clown loves you. Artist and songwriter TULLE was born with morbid curiosity, and writes about her endless questions about what the human purpose is, and what happens after we go. Inspired by folklore, horror and religious images, TULLE creates an eerie, mystical universe, which is soon to be continued by her project ‘JOKE’, coming up in Spring 2025. In this project, she looks at life from the perspective of a circus clown, constantly performing, only to be laughed at and misunderstood.
The Axe And The Tree is an alternative synth pop song about the struggle to forgive and forget, especially when it’s somebody so close to you. This song was written from the point of view of a tree being cut down by an axe; to be changed and twisted forever. Inspired by Ethel Cain, Phoebe Bridgers and Lorde, this song shows off my world of intrusive thoughts and eerie folklore. I wrote it from personal experience and the song feels very raw to me.
