Anaïs & The Hoops is an indie pop singer songwriter based in Brooklyn, New Yor City, USA.
Combining jazz-inflected vocals, introspective lyrics, catchy pop melodies, and a retro-inspired aesthetic, Anaïs & The Hoops has quickly emerged as one of indie music’s most distinctive new voices.
Hailing from San Diego and now based in Brooklyn, Anaïs began performing at a young age and spent much of her 20s singing professionally in jazz clubs before finding her own artistic voice. In September 2025, she released her debut EP, Growing Pains, which earned support from NPR Music, Ones To Watch, and WFUV.
With “Growing Pains,” Anaïs explores love through the lens of friendship. “Friendships shape us just as deeply as romantic love, especially the ones we carry from childhood into adulthood,” she says. “The song is a love letter to best friends and to growing up alongside the people who feel like home.”
