BETHANY is an indie-Rock singer-songwriter from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
As BETHANY, Fulde has carved out a niche for herself in the indie-rock world, pulling inspiration from fearless songwriters such as Fiona Apple and Neko Case. Fulde crafts music that is stirring, heartfelt, and unafraid to explore complexity – you can hear that throughout her last three records.
On stage, Fulde brings that raw spirit to life, moving seamlessly between her Jaguar guitar and her piano, commanding the room with a presence that is magnetic and vulnerable. With her song “Witches,” BETHANY continues to expand that world — inviting listeners into a space where darkness glitters and strength coexists with softness.
“Witches,” is a dark and shimmering new single from her project BETHANY. The song is brooding & intense, both sonically & lyrically, and dives headfirst into the tension of duality within.
Written by Fulde, “Witches” captures her signature blend of introspective lyricism and bold, raw vocals. Featured on this track is the immeasurable talent of drummer Loel Campbell (Wintersleep, Weird Nightmare) and bassist Tori Cameron (The Town Heroes), as well as Bethany on guitar&organ. The song was recorded & mixed with Campbell at the helm, in his studio EUREKA! Audio. Mastered by Noah Mintz at Lacqeur Channel Studios. Artwork by Jud Haynes.
