Marianne Engebretsen is a Norwegian artist, songwriter, and producer whose cinematic alt-pop pushes creative boundaries. Growing up on Norway’s west coast, surrounded by the ocean and ever-changing landscapes, she developed a soaring, tender voice that is unforgettable.
Marianne first gained public attention as a semifinalist on The Voice Norway(2015), with her blind audition song “Magic” reaching Norway’s Top 50 on Spotify. Since then, she has released critically acclaimed albums (Redefined, 2017; Something New, 2022), performed at sold-out concerts in Oslo, had her music featured in the Norwegian blockbuster Nordsjøen (2021), and received a Government Grant for Artists (2022). She’s currently recording her third album.
