Mlkshk is a Crimean-born and Switzerland-raised musician based in Prague, CZ. Her music is inspired by everyday life in a foreign country and its ups and downs, feelings of alienation, scenes from childhood, and imaginary places, colours and shapes.
The song Flowers from her 2023 EP, ‘I went on vacation and never came back’, is about the power of the smell of flowers and how much a little smell can remind you of. as the lyrics say, “when sweet memories are all you dread, with every flower it’s a tear that’s shed”
