nazire is an Indie, shoegaze, dream pop, lo-fi rock singer songwriter from Istanbul Turkey.
nazire is an independent 24 year old artist from Istanbul currently releasing via Ortacag Records, an independent DIY label from Istanbul Turkey. She started her journey by releasing Indie and Dream pop tracks in Turkish right around COVID, but is now focused on making noisier, darker and more experimental tracks that blend electronic production with distorted guitars and harmonious, ethereal vocals. She’s played in multiple big cities around Turkey and is preparing for the release of her debut album glitchfolk.
leech is the third and last single from my upcoming album glitchfolk. A shoegaze-glitch indie track about being emotionally drained by a close friend, “leech” shifts between robotic detachment and warm familiarity through warped guitars and vocals. Inspired by artists like julie, DIIV, Momma and Blue Smiley.
