Alis Naya is a Sad girl indie pop singer-songwriter from London, UK

She has just released her debut 4 track EP Paralysis.

Alis says: I started writing songs about my experiences, the ups and the downs of life. And this has brought so much meaning to my existence.

It’s provided a way to process my pain. A way to express myself through music and storytelling. A way to heal my wounds. A way to turn darkness into light.

And that feels a little bit like magic.

I started this project 3 years ago today (and the writing even before that!) and it has been quite a journey.

I have faced so many challenges along the way, most prominent of which were my internal struggles, imposter syndrome, and my utter conviction that I wasn’t good enough or worthy enough or talented enough to even justify giving it a go. But I wouldn’t change a thing – I have grown so much through this! I am slowly learning to show up for myself, as my true self, trust myself, and not let my fear stop me any more. And I am so glad to have finally acknowledged my creativity and love for writing songs and making music ❤️
