Nead Next Door (she/they) is an Indie Pop singer songwriter based in Sydney, Australia.

Nead next door (nead like neigh) is a queer nonbinary musician originally from the tropics of mamu country, they now live and make on gadigal land. With a love of constant mixing and experimentation with genre they draw influence from folk, pop, musical theatre and much more.

Black And Blue is a folky/country-pop tune influenced by MUNA’s country tracks, Kacey Musgraves and early Taylor Swift. With slide guitar, banjo and stacked harmonies, the song talks about choosing to be alone when past relationships have left you “black and blue.”
